Junior Trainers

A certified personal trainer teaches youth how to use weight, circuit, cardio room, and outdoor fitness area equipment with proper form, etiquette, and basic human anatomy. Participation in the class is required for access to the weight room, cardio rooms, and outdoor fitness area. One parent must attend the Junior Trainer's class with children ages 11 and 12.

Parents, please note:

  • The Junior Trainer's class time is allotted for youth to learn. Thank you for not working out during this time on Sundays, during closed business hours. 
  • Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated at any time. Neglect of CVPRD's code of conduct, policies, and procedures may result in loss of privileges. 
  • Junior Trainer wristbands are not allowed to be shared with younger siblings, friends, or anyone else who has not been through the course. This may result in loss of privileges.
  • Ages 11–14 must complete the Junior Trainers program to use fitness areas and wear their wrist bands during use. Ages 10 and under are not allowed in these spaces (Weight Room, Circuit, Cardio, Outdoor Fitness areas).

  • Payment is due before each session. 
  • Fee: $15 District, $22.50 Non-District
