May 2025

Please go back to manual flushing toilets... or have a back-up button to push when the automatic toilets don't flush, which is most of the time.

We are phasing out all of the automatic plumbing as needed. If you ever need assistance please let the front desk know so we can take care of your issues in a timely manner.

April 2025

Hire more lifeguards so my kids can swim in the morning.

To ensure a safe and well-staffed pool environment, we’ve made adjustments to our pool schedule based on current staffing levels and usage patterns. While usage has been lower, we’re excited to share that we’ve hired additional lifeguards in preparation for summer.

As a result, our pool hours will be changing for summer break. Please keep an eye out for the updated summer schedule, which will be posted soon.

How about a sign by the lifeguard's door telling the names of who is in on duty. Would be a nice way to get to know staff. Name tags or sign at front desk identifying staff would be nice too. Name tags for all.

This is such a great idea, we will look into finding a way to introduce our lifeguards to our patrons.

All of our staff have been outfitted with name tags. Our aquatics staff are not required to wear them because of the nature of their job.

Outdoor Pool

We’d Love to Have an Outdoor Pool Someday! While we share the excitement for an outdoor pool, our recent efforts to bring one to the community have not been successful. At this time, there are no current plans to build an outdoor pool.

This is not an early morning day care. Kids in the hall w/ several stuffed animals is ridiculous to me.

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all members of our community, including families with young children. While we understand that different guests may have different expectations, we do our best to balance the needs of all who use our facilities.

More slides

We Agree—That Would Be So Fun! You're not alone in wanting more slides! Unfortunately, we currently don’t have the space to accommodate additional slides.

Please open the Rec Center earlier on Sundays. People like to work out at the beginning or ending of their day. not in the middle. Even if you open at 9am instead of 10am. I think many people would be here perhaps consider a trial for the summer 3 or 4 months and assess usages.

Thank you for your suggestion! At this time, we will not be adjusting Sunday hours due to consistently low usage during early morning times. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to monitor attendance trends.

Please fix the shower head in the handicap shower of women's Rest Room. E6000 glue would fix it.

We have out in a request for our maintenance team to look into this. Thank you for letting us know.

Please tighten allen screws on shower handles in most of the showers in the ladies locker room

We will let our maintenance team know! Thank you for helping us keep our facilities

Do coaches have guidelines on what to teach and playtime for kids against other teams? Concern: Ok with two soccer game cancellations, ok with coaches having two groups (Best/familiar and new/needs more training in soccer. Ok for substituting first group w/2nd group, all kids have same playing time. My grandsons, Dominick Huerta and Uriah Huerta are in 2nd group and new to soccer. At first coaches were substituting first group w/2nd group and all kids got same playing time. Now on 2nd group both Dominick and Uriah don't get same playing time as 1st group and rest of kids in 2nd group. When 2nd group goes in one of them sit out then next time the other sits out. Not fair to child(s) I know coaches practice time and games are voluntary and that their sons are playing. Coaches should be fair to all children they are coaching, give equal playing time. The boys will not be playing soccer tomorrow, 4/12, last game. Coaches? This is a complaint. They both played T-ball last year and coaches were fair in teaching and playing time when playing against another team!

Thank you for your feedback. Coaches are encouraged to provide fair and equal playtime, especially in recreational leagues. We’ll follow up with the coaching staff to ensure all players are given a fair opportunity to participate. We appreciate your support and involvement in our programs.

When taking count or anytime for that matter- I thought you had a dress code - I see some women in the attire that is inappropriate - someone here should be telling them to cover themselves better!!

We do have a dress code policy in place, and we strive to maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone. If you observe something that concerns you, please don’t hesitate to bring it to a staff member’s attention so it can be addressed appropriately.

Great Job Active Adults

We AGREE! Our Active Adults team is amazing and we are so excited for them to have their new Community Center. So much more space AND it is beautiful.

You need to close at 7:00

Our current hours are based on community usage and staffing availability. While we don’t have plans to change closing times at this moment, we appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind during future evaluations.

Adult after hours pickleball

At this time, we do not offer after-hours pickleball due to staffing and facility availability. However, we appreciate your interest and will keep this in mind as we review future programming and scheduling options.

Cubbies for the group workout room so shoes, jackets, gym bags aren't on the floor.

Our current set up does not give us much space for cubbies, but we are looking into different room layouts and possible renovations.

Hip thrust machine for weight room.

We are hoping to purchase a Hip Thrust machine in 2026.

Please add Kareoke Night for kids

This is such a fun idea! Our camp kids often enjoy Kareoke. Maybe we can add this in to Kids Night at the Rec? We will pass your suggestion on to our Youth Programming team.

Please put up the comm. bulletin board again. Important especially for non-profit.

Why not bulletin board for non-profit and school announcements like you had before you cleaned it up in Sept? Our church used it and was great help. Others have said same thing. Every rec center I have been to has one for the public announcements. 2nd time I have asked.

Thank you for your suggestion and for following up. While we don’t currently plan to reinstall the public bulletin board, we are open to posting external advertisements that align with our brand and policies.

All external advertising must be approved by our Brand Supervisor before posting and is limited to an 8.5 x 11-inch format. To request approval, please stop by the front desk or email Candice Berglund at cberglund@cvprd.com.

Why all the changes in the hours of the pool? Alot of older people use the river at different times. Having it being closed at 10:30 inconviences alot of people. Its' almost like you are trying to loose people!

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that changes to the pool schedule can be inconvenient, especially for those who enjoy using the river area at various times. Please know that the safety of our guests is our top priority. Schedule adjustments are made based on staffing availability and usage trends to ensure a safe and well-managed environment for everyone.

We truly value your input and will keep it in mind as we continue to evaluate our pool hours.

March 2025

Women's restroom/locker room - first toilet is disconnected. Please change the toilet so you can actually flush it manually. Most of the time they don't flush.

Our maintenance team has looked into this issue and fixed it.

Please change the clock by the treadmills.

The clock is currently showing the correct time.

Melisa M (Zumba Fri 12-1) is a keeper! Love her workout and attitude (lots of fun)

Thank you for sharing this. We will make sure to pass this compliment along.

Sam was nice, amazing lifeguard :)

Thank you for sharing this. We will make sure to pass this compliment along.

Line dancing needed.

What a fun idea! We will pass along this information to our programming team.

Put a prominent no cell phones in the locker room. There is frequently someone using their phone in there.

We do have signs in the enterance of each locker room saying no cellphones.

Get footballs for swimming. Get new basketballs. Make a hoop for the pool. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. We will pass this information along to the Guest Services and the Aquatics Department.

I came back to the gym after a long while. Checked pool hours and it said open swim starts at 1:00pm. I go into the area and lifeguard tells me I can only go in lazy river and small area for kids. This is not what open swim means to an adult. It means you can swim in the big pool. For a older woman this is crazy. I bet all the money there is that if you asked an adult what open swim means at the rec center they would think you could go in the big girls and boys pool. You need to change your wording.

We have reworded the website and marketing materials to more clearly state the the Lap Pool does not open until 4pm during open swim hours.

Use a wet vac to remove sand and grit from the lazy river and hot tub.

We have passed this information along to the aquatics department.

I want more slides

More slides would be more fun. Unfortunately we do not have the space to accomodate more slides in our current facility.

Please look into improving the internet band width is not enough to allow us all to listen to our music/books/etc.

We did recently upgrade our internet, so we hope this remedies that problem.

I would be great if the running and walking lanes were marked with blue tape of the outside lane for runners and red for the walkers outside lane is better for runners because it is a wider corner and the inside lane for walkers if the need to be able to hold on to the rail

We are in the process of getting new singage. This new signage will match the new track pattern as well as list out the new rules.

Hip Thrust machine, Squat machines too

We are looking into purchasing a plate loaded Hip Thrust Machine in 2026. We are also hoping to add more squat machines with a possible redesign of the weight room in the future.

Nautilus weight machines need some serious cleaning look at #1 hair and debris sitting there for weeks!

We have addressed cleanliness concern.  Our team will be sure to follow up with more frequent cleaning and paying closer attention to detail. Thank you for providing this helpful feedback.

Air Freshener for the Racquetball court

At this time, we don’t have a suitable or safe location to place an air freshener in the court area.

February 2025

Hip thrust machine

This is a great suggestion. We will pass this information along to our Fitness Supervisior.
