Pool Rules
This list is not all-inclusive. Guests must follow all instructions from Aquatics staff.
General Rules
- Follow all emergency procedures. Guests must exit the pool area immediately when signaled or instructed by the Manager on Duty.
- State health regulations require a full head and body shower before entering the pool.
- Proper swim attire is required. If you need assistance finding appropriate swimwear, please speak with a manager.
- Only water is allowed in the pool area—no food or other drinks.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vests and puddle jumpers are permitted. If you need one, you can borrow one from us! Other flotation devices, such as water wings, are not allowed.
- Lap lanes are reserved for lap swimming and vertical exercise (e.g., aqua aerobics, water walking).
- Entering closed pools without a lifeguard on duty is strictly prohibited.
- Water weights and kickboards are for aquatics classes and adult use only.
- Life jackets and flotation devices are not allowed on slides, lily pads, diving boards, or in the deep end.
For Parents & Guardians
- All individuals who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk and must be changed promptly when soiled.
- Children 7 & under (and all non-swimmers) must be actively supervised and within arm’s reach of a parent/guardian at all times in the water.
- Children 8-9 must be accompanied and actively supervised by an adult in the pool area.
- Children 10-13 must be accompanied by someone 14 or older at all times.
- Please encourage restroom use during safety breaks.
For the Safety of All Guests, the Following Are NOT Allowed:
- Running
- Diving in shallow areas (less than 9 feet deep)
- Flips from the pool deck
- Rough play (dunking, pushing, pulling)
- Body surfing or riding on shoulders
- Extended breath-holding or hypoxic training
- Spitting or blowing the nose in the pool
- Climbing on furniture or pool features
- Hanging on diving boards or lane lines
- Sitting on water fountains/jets
- Lying on the deck near the pool’s edge
- Engaging lifeguards in unnecessary conversation
- Foul or abusive language
- Underwater photography
- Glass of any kind
- Scuba masks
- Smoking, vaping, tobacco, or alcohol (including prior consumption)
- Chewing gum
- Street clothes or cotton fabric in the pool
The steam temperature varies between 99° and 104°.
The hot tub temperature varies between 102° and 104°.
- Children 8 & under are not permitted in the hot tub (including sitting on the side or steps).
- Children 9-13 must be accompanied by an adult in the hot tub.
- Children 10 & under are not permitted in the sauna.
- Guests with medical conditions, or who are elderly or pregnant individuals should consult their physician before use.
- Limit time in all heat amenities to 15 minutes to prevent dizziness, nausea, or loss of consciousness.
- Do not pour liquids on heating elements or sensors. Guests who tamper with them will be ejected for at least 7 days. If tampering occurs, the steam room will be closed until it returns to a safe temperature.
- Essential oils and fragrances are not allowed in the steam room.
Temperature varies between 85° and 88°.
Kiddie Pool Rules
- No climbing on amenities.
- No climbing up the slide or waterfall.
- Children age 7 and younger only on the slide.
- Feet first only on the slide.
- No climbing on the railing.
Floating Water Walking System Rules
- Must start by the kiddie pool, please do not go the wrong way.
- Life jackets are NOT ALLOWED.
- One person at a time; if you fall off, swim to the side and exit the pool on the ladder.
- Jumping over the first floating pad or flipping them is NOT ALLOWED.
- No hanging on the rope.
- No hanging out or swimming through the area when system is being used.
- Adults may assist small children on the system.
Slide Rules
- Life jackets and personal flotation devices are NOT ALLOWED on the slide.
- All riders must be 48 inches or taller.
- Feet first only.
- One person at a time - please wait until the rider in front of you has reached the bottom before going.
- Clear the slide pool immediately by swimming to the stairs and exiting the pool.
- No hanging out in the slide pool.
- No stopping, rolling, or spinning on the slide.
River Rules
- No jumping or enter the river from the side; must enter only from the stairs in the kiddie pool.
- No sitting, standing or climbing on the river walls.
Temperature varies between 82° and 85°.
Lap Lane Rules
- Two lap lane lines are in the pool at all times.
- Lap lanes are for lap swimming and water walking.
- Lap swimmers must share lap lanes, with circle swimming.
- Lap lane availability will be limited during swim lessons and swim team times.
Deep End Rules
- Life jackets are NOT ALLOWED in the deep end, including on the climbing wall or diving board.
- Anyone under the age of 14 should complete a swim test before entering the deep end.
- No hanging out in the deep end when the rope or diving board is in use.
- Only one amenity (rope swing or diving board) will be open at a time.
- Swimmers may not swim or hang out in the deep end when the diving board or climbing wall are in use.
Diving Board Rules
- One person at a time.
- Divers must swim to the side of the pool and exit the deep end before the next person jumps.
- No backflips.
- No hanging on the diving board.
Climbing Wall Rules
- Users need to wait for their turn next to the wall.
- One person at a time must climb, drop, then exit in the deep end.
- No flips.
- Must enter the water feet first.
