Mini-Sluggers T-Ball (Age 4-5) 

This program is perfect for kids new to baseball! Over five instructional weeks, participants will learn the basic skills and fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive environment. Teams meet once a week for a 45-minute practice, with exciting 3-inning games held on Wednesdays. In addition to having a great time, children will develop social skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the sport.

Rising Sluggers T-Ball (Age 5-6) 

Perfect for second-year baseball players! This program offers five weeks of instruction to help participants build on their existing skills and deepen their understanding of the game in a fun, supportive environment. Teams meet once a week for a 45-minute practice, with action-packed 3-inning games on Thursdays. Along with improving their baseball abilities, children will develop social skills, boost their confidence, and continue fostering their love for the sport.

Future Sluggers Coach Pitch (Age 7-8) 

Coach Pitch focuses on developing strong baseball fundamentals, providing players with the foundation they need to grow into successful ballplayers. Teams practice once a week and play six exciting games against other Carbon Valley teams on Thursday evenings. This program emphasizes skill-building, teamwork, and fun, helping players advance their abilities and love for the game.

10U (Age 9-10), & 12U (Age 11-12) 

Batter up! In this recreational summer baseball league, players will enhance their skills in batting, throwing, and more while enjoying the game they love. Teams practice for 90 minutes each week and compete in 8 exciting games. Some travel to Platteville and LaSalle is required, offering players the chance to test their abilities in a fun and supportive environment. 

10U (Age 9-10)

12U (Age 11-12)

14U (Age 13-14) 

Step up to the plate! This recreational summer baseball league is perfect for 14U players looking to sharpen their skills in batting, throwing, and fielding while enjoying competitive gameplay. Teams practice for 90 minutes each week and compete in 8 exciting games. Some travel to Platteville and LaSalle is required, providing players the opportunity to challenge themselves and grow in a fun, supportive environment

14U (Age 13-14)

Game Days: Tuesday/Thursday
Game Dates: June 10 - July 24
No Practice/Game:  Week of 4th of July
Fee: $138 District, $207 Non-District

 What you Need to Know

  • Practice times, days, and locations are determined by the coach, and gym availability. 
  • Team practices
    • 4-year-olds 30-45 minute weekday practice and 3-inning game on Fridays.
    • 5- to 8-year-olds once a week for one hour and games on Thursdays.
    • 9+ once a week for 90 minutes (see individual programs for game days)
  • Coaches’ meetings are typically held 1 - 2 weeks before the first scheduled practice.
  • Unless otherwise noted, children are placed on teams according to their age on the first practice day of the season.
  • In general, leagues for children ages 8 and younger are self-officiated by coaches and parent volunteers. Games for children ages 9 and older are officiated by a game official.
  • All CVPRD leagues include jerseys and hats.
  • Some travel may be required for 10U, 12U, 14U
  • Coach requests are first-come, first-served.
  • Game schedules can be found on our www.cvprdathletics.com.
  • Participants will need to provide their own glove, pants, socks, and shoes. We strongly encourage participants purchase their own batting helmet and bat.
