Now Accepting Applications for CVPRD Board of Directors – Frederick Representative

The Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District Board of Directors is currently seeking to fill a vacant seat on the board with a resident of Frederick. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about parks, recreation, and community service to help shape the future of the district. The selected candidate will be appointed to serve a two-year term, representing the interests of Frederick residents and contributing to key decisions that impact programs, facilities, and services across the district.

To be eligible for the 2-year-term seat representing Frederick on the Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District Board of Directors, applicants must reside in Frederick, Colorado, be a registered voter, and be a current member of the District. This appointed position runs through 2027, at which point you will have the opportunity to seek re-election. Board members are expected to actively participate in District governance by attending both Study Sessions, held on the second Wednesday of each month, and Board Meetings, held on the third Wednesday.
