Congratulations to Jacqueline Curtis, our June Fitness Patron of the Month!

It is truly an honor to be selected as Carbon Valley Recreation Center’s Fitness Patron of the Month.

I work out so I can be physically and mentally present for my children and future grandchildren. They are my biggest motivation. I also want to set a good example for my kids by showing them the importance of taking care of their bodies and overall well-being. Working out has made me a better mom, and it’s helped me live a happier, more balanced life.

Les Mills BodyPump is both physically and mentally challenging, and that’s exactly what makes it so therapeutic for me. No matter what kind of day I’m having, I always feel better after class—stronger, clearer, and more at peace.

A while back, I suffered from debilitating sciatic pain that affected nearly every part of my life, but ever since I started taking the Les Mills BodyPump class, the pain is gone. I’ve been completely pain-free for over a year and a half, and it has been life-changing.

The BodyPump community is so welcoming—you truly feel like you belong. If you’re ever interested in joining a BodyPump class, don’t hesitate. The instructors are incredibly supportive and will help you every step of the way.

Every time I walk out of class, I feel like I’ve accomplished something meaningful for myself. I’ve noticed that I’m not just stronger physically, but emotionally too. I’m healthier, I’m happier, and I’m grateful. I also want to recognize my husband for always moving his work schedule around to watch our kids so I can attend these classes and for supporting me since day one. His encouragement has meant everything to me.
