Group Fitness

Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District's fitness program strives to positively impact our community and surrounding areas by providing the highest quality experience through safe, effective and fun fitness programming. Our group fitness classes will challenge you and help you achieve your goals. Highly trained and qualified instructors teach low impact to high impact classes and everything in between.

Fitness classes are held at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center unless stated otherwise. Drop-in group fitness classes are included with daily admission fees or rec center membership passes.

Healing Hearts-Elemental Rhythm Breathwork 

Elemental Rhythm Breathwork will teach you how to reduce the effects of stress and anxiety on the body and mind through the practice of breathwork and energy movement. Different breathing techniques combined with music, movement and meditation will help improve sleep, anxiety, mind clutter and an overall sense of well-being.

BODYPUMP TECHNIQUE AND NEW LAUNCH WEEK!

Whether you're new to Bodypump or want to refine your technique, we invite you to attend. You will get a great workout while learning proper form and technique to increase strength, functionality and safety awareness in the original Les Mills barbell class while also launching the new Bodypump release 131!

Be sure to pick up a participation card from Guest Services prior to classes to save your spot up to 90 minutes prior to class start time. Typically 20 minutes ahead of class is ample time.

Young Yogis is back for the New Year!

Young Yogi's is designed for youth ages 6-12 and offers a safe and fun atmosphere to help improve focus, concentration and overall well-being.
